ABOUT ME
I am an artist, illustrator, and writer from Athens, Ohio; I am currently based in Columbus, Ohio!
In my work, I enjoy using mediums like printmaking, watercolor, gouache, ink, and colored pencils, as well as digital art, to create playful themes of nature, nostalgia, and whimsicality. I enjoy combining traditional and digital work to highlight textures and color palettes used in my work. I also use my work to provoke emotion and relatability. I do this by reminiscing on my own experiences through my life, especially in my childhood.
I graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design in 2024; I majored in Illustration, and double-minored in Art Therapy and Creative Writing. During my time there, I was able to create a sense of style, as well as discover new interests that I focus in today, such as children’s literature illustration, comics and printmaking.
Before CCAD, I attended Interlochen Arts Camp in the summers of 2014, 2017 and 2019, and I attended the Cleveland Institute of Art Precollege program in 2018. These experiences directed me through my youth, guiding me into become the artist I am today. Art has always been very important to me, and I hope to bring that same enjoyment to others through my art!
